Challenge
ONA is Canberra’s largest speciality roaster with a goal to create the best coffee in the world. Having started in Canberra in 2008, the company now boasts four locations in the capital and one in Sydney. Their headquarters in Fyshwick supplies locally roasted coffee to over 100 businesses, which they source through an ethical trading company. Having established themselves by name, the company was in need of a unique brand design that encompassed their dedication to perfection and sustainability.
Approach
We liaised with the founders of ONA to capture their requirements, before setting to work on a design. One of our goals was to pay tribute to the company’s Canberra heritage, and add simplistic and unique design elements that would make the brand instantly recognisable to consumers. The brand was to appear on everything from shop signage to packaging, vehicles and business cards – so it was important to craft a design that could be applied seamlessly across all materials.
Results
The final result is a beautiful, sophisticated and simple design that encapsulates the brand’s heritage, values, vision and promise.
